Keramik Primitiv
Ceramics project

Exhibitied during Southern Sweden Design Days 2022 here & here.

I fell in love with clay during an evening course and continued creating on my own as a break from my digital work. The idea of creating ceramics as wall decoration was born when my walls echoed empty after a move. With the project Keramik Primitiv, I want to contribute to
a warm and cozy home with organic and unique
ceramic stoneware pieces.

This project was about sketching in clay and letting the final result have a sketch-like finish. I chose to work according to the key words unpolished, sloppy and random – exploring the versatility but also limitation of clay by letting the material be the main decision-maker regarding the aesthetics. The objects' aesthetic expression are thereby clearly marked by the manufacturing process.

Graphically I created two SoMe-posts to promote the two exhibition's in which Keramik Primitiv was showcased.
